[19] Inafaa kwake kuswali Rak´ah mbili kujengea ya kwamba zimethibiti katika matendo ya Mtume (Swalla Allaahu ´alayhi wa sallam)[1]. Bali amewaamrisha nazo Ummah wake na kusema:
“Hakika safari hii ina juhudi na uzito. Baada ya mmoja wenu kuswali Witr, basi na aswali Rak´ah mbili. Ima akaamka au akalipwa kwazo.”[2]
[20] Sunnah ni kusoma ndani yake “az-Zalzalah” na “al-Kaafiruun”.[3]

Nilipoona amri hii ya kiutume tukufu, nikakimbilia kuitendea kazi na nikatambua maneno yake (Swalla Allaahu ´alayhi wa sallam): “Ifanyeni swalah yenu ya mwisho iwe ni Witr” ni kwa minajili ya khiyari, na sio malazimisho. Haya ndio maoni ya Ibn Naswr (130).
